this is probably where i should explain the title. i am not jimmy. I am not a Jim, nor even a James. No, jimmy is the name bestowed upon me by william, an old paranoid schizophrenic who has changed my life.
let me back up an explain that i live in a home of hospitality for mentally ill men. it's a a catholic worker house, to be specific--a bunch of old and young anarchists and dreamers and people who believe that this life could be, and is, so much better when we surround ourselves with the downtrodden and align ourselves with the poor.
